Sixth-graders get new learning tools
September 6, 2009
In a school where 90 percent of the students received free lunch, class supplies can be difficult to come by.
But sixth-grade teacher Mrs. Spear turned to Donors Choose and found the help she needed. She made a request for 30 Expo white boards and 24 dry erase markers, which she intended to use as teaching tools. Students would be able to respond individually to questions with the white boards and reuse them for numerous subjects.
