"I don't read Ms. G."

This is what Ms. Groth needed to change. Her 7th, 8th, and High School Developmental Reading classes are full of students who "hate" reading.

But, having seen how one good book can change this viewpoint, she needed a wide range of books that the students would find appealing. Ms. Groth turned to DonorsChoose with a list of book that her students could relate to and be excited about reading.

Through the support of several donors, her classroom now has 63 new, high-interest books to spark these students love for the written word.
