FSQ student earns theatre scholarship

Fountain Square Academy student Sam Borton has been awarded a scholarship worth $875 to attend the Indiana Repertory Theatre Summer Conservatory for theatre production.
 
Production track students will receive training in stage management, directing, lighting, scenic design, costumes, properties and playwriting. Students will also create individual production projects that will be exhibited at the acting conservatory public performances.
 
"I am very proud of his willingness to learn about the production end of theatre which is totally new to him," said English high school teacher Nancy Ewing.
